Dark oolong with a gold amber color and a pleasing slightly floral aroma. This tea is sweet and mellow with a floral vanilla flavor. It is a little reminiscent of a Taiwan Oriental Beauty oolong I drank recently.

This tea has the aroma of wet wood and hay. It has an earthy rich flavor that is malty with a hint of fruitiness, peach maybe. I am not the biggest fan of fruitiness in black tea, but this one I liked.

Light amber in color with a a very inviting aroma. This tea is slightly sweet with a soft wood flavor and a hint of plum flavor. It is similar to Teavivre’s Fengqing Ancient Tree Spring Chun Jian Raw Pu-erh 2012, but I like the 2012 much more than this tea.

I think I steeped this tea too long, it was bitter and astringent. Taking that into account, I did not get much character from this tea, not something I would drink again.

This tea has a pleasant malty aroma. It has a malty taste that is rich and sweet. I was really liking this tea, but it lost me with the aftertaste. Kind of like a movie with a great beginning and a bad ending (similar to any M. Night Shyamalan movie made after “The Sixth Sense”).
