Very tasty for a tea-bag! I like to add milk and sugar and drink this before bed (or just when it’s cold out). I’d recommend it to anyone who wants some chai without much fuss!

A nice, lighter golden alternative to my usual pu-erh. Teavivre was nice enough to send me a sample of this along with an order, and it’s very much appreciated! Warm, mouth-feel, stomach settling and relaxing. “Golden buds” describes it well. Nice to enjoy on a cold day when you need a hearty tea to warm up with!
Very creamy, dark emerald green. Accidentally whisked it too much for my liking the first time, making it slightly bitter. The second time was better, smooth- no bitterness. Tastes like everything I wanted from loose leaf sencha but never quite captured.
This tea has grown on me, it’s a taste like no other. Sticks to your ribs, hot, earthy and dirty (but somehow its good!). This tea helps settle my stomach, even after too many Christmas cannoli.
(Thank you Teavivre for the sample included with this order!)
Sweet, frothy (when mixed with a real chasen), and tasty. It is a calming cup. Beautiful emerald green color. Don’t check email or read the paper when enjoying this, its like a relaxation ritual all on its own.
perfectly brewed, perfectly natural. This tea wakes me up and soothes my nerves in the morning.
Very earthy- wood, leather, dryness…sweetness, it has a rich feel like licorice or coffee. Feels medicinal and soothing.

Very light, pretty, sweet. A little more grassy than Silver Needle, and yet more refreshing. I really enjoyed this one on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Very mellow, grassy, vegetal. Buttery and smooth- Not bitter at all and rather savory. A more “chilled out” green tea (vs. say, intense & bitter sencha)
Difficult taste to describe – it’s like tea with honey already added. Slight dryness, it tastes like what I always wished coffee would taste like… Some sort of dark, licorice smooth flavor. Sweet. Good to drink at night.
Delicious, calming. Sweet and vegetal, best gyokuro I’ve ever tasted.
WOW. Very sweet, very buttery mouth feel. Green flowers, green sea. Zero astringency.
More of a sea-grass (vs. vegetal/grassy) and mineral taste than other gyokuro. Calming, little to no astringency. Smooth, interesting.
Perfectly rounded green. Sweet grassy vegetables. Low astringency, nice after taste (and feel).
Fantastically vegetal. Serene, calm. Very green, very delicious.
Amazing. High theanine content relaxes my nerves. Perfect cup. I drink this every day.
A complex but calming cup. Contemplative.
Very vegetal fragrance, but light and fresh taste. Calm, pleasant.
This is like the literal definition of ‘pretty’. Sweet, crisp, dry, floral. I absolutely love it.
Salvation. Forest floor, floral, calming cup. This tea is a necessity to start my day.
