Very mellow, grassy, vegetal. Buttery and smooth- Not bitter at all and rather savory. A more “chilled out” green tea (vs. say, intense & bitter sencha)

Difficult taste to describe – it’s like tea with honey already added. Slight dryness, it tastes like what I always wished coffee would taste like… Some sort of dark, licorice smooth flavor. Sweet. Good to drink at night.

More of a sea-grass (vs. vegetal/grassy) and mineral taste than other gyokuro. Calming, little to no astringency. Smooth, interesting.
