8 Tasting Notes
Well, now I feel I’m the only one who hates this tea? I bought a 50g bag online because it’s supposed to be a popular tea.. which I thought meant it was good.
Maybe my bag is very old? Anyway, the dry stuff smells like butter and the steeped stuff tastes like rancid butter..
Oh well, maybe it’s just not my cuppatea!
Thank you for reading and have a goji-popping day! (is that a good thing considering my review??)
PS: you can factor in the space factor if you like
I got this as a free sample from an online order and I’m giving it a try right NOW!
Dry smell: This smells pretty good, you can definitely smell the caramel and the popcorn… but somehow it doesn’t smell like caramel popcorn lol.
Brewing smell: Now I’d say it smells like roasted corn and caramel, a pinch of cinnamon, it smells like sweets. Okay, I’m pretty sure this smells exactly like Fruity Pebbles, from POST, you know, the flintstones cereals? Yeah that’s it!Also, the brew turned out pinkish in color, it looks pretty nice.
Taste: The taste is pretty stale to me, tastes like burnt sugar.
Not my kind of tea :) but the smell is nice.
Flavors: Caramel, Cinnamon, Roasted
I bought this tea because it was in the top 3 and I was just getting into teas.. well okay it’s not a tea, but I bought it anyway. When I first opened the tin I loooooved the smell of this! it SMELLS amazing!!! The taste, not so much. I still keep tho, and smell it from time to time. lol
Flavors: Almond, Apple
