Drinking this while I work. I’m drinking it straight because I’m at school and don’t have all the fun stuff like milk or marshmallows… (sob) on the plus side it tastes great and I got a message from C.R. to try the new Netflix for Tea site and put in my sample order there. So I’ll have lots of fun trying new stuff :D

I tried this with half matcha half milk and marshmallows (I’m on a marshmallow kick right now…) so that I could drink while on my way to school. I drank all 16oz before I got there. Probably before I was even halfway… it was just soooo damn tasty :D

So a little story for you:
I was making this matcha and added marshmallows when my Mom came home smelled the matcha and decided to take a sip… “YUCK!” I have to agree that straight matcha is very icky. However once I added milk to the marshmallows and Matcha it was divine. I also now never have to worry about her stealing my stash :D

I had a cup of this great tea this morning and added marshmallows :D (really didn’t need the marshmallows)

I just added more water so it’s not technically a new cup, and it’s not a resteep since there’s no leaves or bag… I’m not sure what to call it… water caramel matcha flavour maybe?? oh well still tasty :D

Having this cold with ice (the ice melted) in my brita water bottle :D it’s actually pretty tasty but I feel like it’s missing something… oh I know milk or ice cream or something. I must try this with vanilla ice cream (puts vanilla ice cream on shopping list)

Okay this is the second time I’ve had this matcha. It was pretty good hot but it wasn’t at it’s best for me. Then I tried it with water and ice and it was awesome! next time though I need this one a bit heavier on flavour. I got this basic grade, delicate flavour, small (30g) with the metal tin. I was a little bag challenged when opening the bag and spilled some (the dog licked it up but didn’t suffer any negative effects from it) bye-bye actual cola hello cola matcha :D

I can’t seem to stay focused today so I think I’ll sneak another guayusa in! I felt like Vanilla and this one fits quite nicely :D

yesterday it was almond cookie day and now it’s time for my ginger cookie or I mean Laoshan Village Chai…. oh we all know it tastes like awesome ginger cookies :D

This is my last cup for the night and I love it :D I don’t know why the name was changed from almond cookie, but it will always be almond cookie tea to me :D

I had a cup of this earlier (by a few hours) and as usual it’s awesome! Want to hear a secret? Sometimes I open up the tin I put it in just to smell it :D

I had a cup of this, this morning and it was yummy! I’ll probably have a matcha every morning before I leave the house and save the guayusa for when I’m on the go and need to wake up :D

Okay this is my first review of the awesome cheesecake matcha. So first things first you can buy it at http://www.redleaftea.com/matcha-tea/cheesecake-matcha.html
and I highly recommend that you do. So now for the actual review. I tried this the modern way of putting a teaspoon in a cup adding hot water and then using my black & decker mechanical frother to get it all nice and foamy. At first sip it didn’t taste that well when it was hot but once it cooled down a little it was great! I don’t eat much cheesecake because it is soo hard for people to get it right but Red Leaf Tea really knows what they’re doing. It is evident in the smell of the matcha powder (which will torture you as you wait for the water to boil) I next tried this tea with milk. I put hot water to about half a cup frothed it and then added milk and frothed it again. It was even better! I did not think it was possible. I also wish to note that the buying was simple and yes they do ship to Canada (YAAAAY).
I got the starter grade Matcha with robust flavouring and only the small 32grams (which I now deeply regret and plan to order more the moment I have more cash!) I also purchased the tin as the bags are not resealable and the tins take up a lot less room than other teas I’ve bought. I bought 3 Matchas from Red Leaf Tea and they all easily fit in my mailbox, it takes awhile for an order to come to Canada but this is true of all U.S.P.S. shipped things so don’t worry it will come! Free shipping comes if you order over $75 (super easy to get that amount so you’ll almost always have free shipping) Honestly I may be new to tea and Matcha specifically but I know what I like and this I absolutely love.
