I’m 25 and I’m from central Ohio. I work in a music store, and I write program notes for a local symphony orchestra on the side. I grew up playing the trumpet, but I’m now learning the bass guitar. I’m also an incurable introvert, a wannabe writer of fiction and song lyrics, and a bit of an eccentric. Maybe more than a bit.
Some of my favorite teas so far:
Fenqqing Dragon Black Pearl (Teavivre)
Earl Grey Cream (Mahamosa Gourmet Tea Co.)
Laoshan Black (Verdant Teas)
Laoshan Black Genmaicha (Verdant Teas)
Yu Lu Yan Cha (Verdant Teas)
Yun Nan Dian Hong (Teavivre)
Rose Dian Hong (Teavivre)
Bailin Gongfu (Teavivre)
Premium St. Valentine Tea (Czar Nicholas II)
Vanilla black tea (Zen Tea Life)
…Black tea pattern? I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve also enjoyed the few pu-erhs I’ve tried and want to try more. Need more experience with oolongs. Have had some good greens, whites, and rooibos but I’m never in the mood for them. Not a fan of chai, fruity teas, tisanes, or a lot of teas that taste like food.
I have a gaiwan, but I tend to prepare my tea Western-style 97% of the time. I’m less particular than maybe I ought to be about a lot of the variables in tea-making, which sometimes leads to me being a Tea Klutz.
Steepster is awesome. I love hearing from other tea drinkers and reading about teas I haven’t tried yet. Don’t be shy of dropping me a message!
