Backlogging.

Got a sample of this and I wish I had more. As soon as I opened the sample I could smell chocolate – really, really strong chocolate. However, the steeped tea is pleasantly bittersweet and the chocolate isn’t over the top. The yerba mate compliments this well and I’m really glad I got to try this.

Finished off the last of my sample today. I may have to order a package of this. It’s very good.

Today, the first two infusions were a vibrant green and were very flavoursome. The third and fourth started to lose flavour and become weak, but thats probably because I didn’t use as much leaf as I would like to.

This attempt was iced and although it is marginally better than hot, it still doesn’t do anything for me and although I sweetened it, it still tasted bitter with a sugary coating. Ah well. We can’t like them all, I supposes.

The dry leaf was nice – sort of warm and comforting. The liqour was a brilliant golden colour and smelled very good. The taste is very interesting – I get warm, fruity notes and then at the very end of the sip, a slightly woody, bitter note which oddly is quite refreshing.

Second steep just as good, though I get less of the fruit and more of the woody notes.

I was so excited to try this tea (I love pina coladas) and it totally lived up to my expectations! I was really pysched to see chunks of pineapple and coconut and it smelled lovely and refreshing.

Even though I skimped on the leaf a little bit in an attempt to make this last longer, it was still flavoursome and very rereshing.

The scent of this tea is lovely. It’s fruity and I get a strong note of aged wood. The tea itself is quite delicate. All the flavours described come through, especially chestnut. All in all, a very pleasant tea.

I had this again and I was very disappointed. It doesn’t taste anything like I remember it. It kind of weak and I can’t taste the raspberry at all! I’m going to have to lower the rating. Very disappointed!

My very first matcha!

My first thought upon opening the package was that it was very, very green. The powder was very fine and it looked kind of moist (is it meant to be like that?). Anyway, I sifted a little bit into my bowl and poured the water on top. After I whisked it, the powder had dissolved fully. the liqour was very smooth and it tasted sweet on the tip of the tongue then turning quite bitter, which was nice and refeshing.

Very impressed!

My first 52teas tea! Yay! The package arrived today and I had to try this straight away.

It’s a lovely, smooth green tea and the peach is really well balanced with the other flavours. I’m not usually a fan of buttery teas, but this is amazing. I’m so glad I ordered this!

I love this. It is so different to any other coconut tea I have tried – the coconut is less in-your-face but in a good way. It’s almost creamy and it tastes sweet, even without sweetener. The liquor is a lovely colour – a glossy yellow-green. Yay! My favourite coconut tea ever!
