6 Tasting Notes

Strawberry Misaki from Teavana
63

A great blooming tea and absolutely delicious. It doesn’t have much body, but I’m biased because I like “thick” teas. It doesn’t have the subtle flavor of an oolong either, so it kinda reminds me of flavored water. This is pretty easily remedied with a spoonful of honey.

White Ayurvedic Chai from Teavana

Meh. It doesn’t have the good body of the Samurai Chai, but is….okay. I’m more partial to stronger teas, this is a “shy” flavor. Good for blending though

Peach Momotaro Artisan Tea from Teavana

DELICIOUS (with some honey to give it some body). I’m not usually a fan of the lighter teas, but this is an awesome little gem. It’s sweet without being overly so and really does taste like a good peach. Also, the bloom is gorgeous

Samurai Chai Mate from Teavana

This is a really nice chai tea. It has a slight spice, nothing like the other overwhelming chais that I’ve tried. Honestly, this is more of a tea to drink without food since I haven’t found any food so far that goes with it. Also, if you have a caffeine sensitivity, I’d stay away from this tea (it’s been known to give headaches)

Earl Grey White from Teavana
87

This was my second Earl Grey, the first being from a teabag (eew). Honestly, I’m hooked. It’s a very strong, bold tea that is just what I need in the mornings. If you prefer your tea somewhat weak, this isn’t the tea you’d wanna buy. I drink it every morning and sometimes in the afternoon, it really rounds out a meal. If you DO like this tea, I highly suggest that you try the Earl Grey Bravo from Adagio.
