I have a collection of teas I only turn to when ill. This is one of those teas, and it seems to do the job. I drink about 3 or 4 cups within a couple hours when I start to feel a cold come on and it seems to help assuage the symptoms. That said, this is not a tea I drink other than when I am not feeling well. I think if I did, I would psych myself into thinking I’m sick…
3 Tasting Notes
Tried this tea when my wife bought it on a whim. It is a nice tasting, fruity tea. However, being a fan of white tea in it’s simplest form (touch of honey), I felt the pomegranate was overwhelming and destroyed any semblance of the white tea element. All in all, a good tea, but not a personal favorite.
I truly enjoy this tea. It has a sweet aroma (not sure where sewage comes in…maybe li-chan has the wrong tea in mind). Strong flavors, woody and malty. Great for early morning scripture reading or to accompany an evening pipe. I ladle boiling water over a bag and let steep for three minutes, a bit of cream and some sweetener. It is a personal favorite.
