21 Tasting Notes
This chai is so unique! Instead of the usual cinnamon, or cardamon being the foremost flavor, the anise comes out on top. You can still taste all the other spices, but the fact that it tastes mostly of licorice is delightful.
Eh, I’m coming to the conclusion that I just don’t like chamomile. I added a little splenda, and this was just sickly sweet. It also had an unpleasant smell that I can’t quite describe. It’s tastes like chamomile, and a hint of honey, no vanilla that I can detect. However, I’m drinking this because I have a sore throat, and it does seem to be helping.
A nice tea flavor, with a pomegranate bite to it. I added a pinch of sugar, and it was delicious!
This isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever tasted, but it’s bad enough I couldn’t even finish the cup, never mind the box.
This is currently my favorite chai tea. It’s a little heavy on the cinnamon, but I love cinnamon! Not the most balanced chai, but I love it anyway.
I’m not the biggest fan of chamomile, but I was looking for a nice bedtime tea. This is pleasant. Not really anything special to me, but definitely nicer than other chamomile blends I’ve tried. I’ll probably finish the box, and search for a new bedtime tea.
I bought this tea without looking at the ingredients, yikes! I don’t really want to try this one. However, my aunt enjoys it immensely. She says it’s delicious with a touch of sugar.
This is an alright tea, but very touchy. I had a wonderful cup a few days ago. It was smooth and light, with a honey note on the end.
Today I prepared a cup the same way as before, and it turned out so bitter and horrid, that I poured it down the drain.
