Used to be one of my favourites, which led to me overdoing it and getting sick of it. A few months later, it’s back to going into my rotation of teas-to-have. Delicious and smooth (and even better with some actual Bailey’s!)

This has been one of my favourite teas since I first tried it. The rose and jasmine mix with the green and black teas to make a perfect refreshing tea that never fails to pick me up.
One of my friends and I routinely ask each other – how can a tea that smells this awful taste this good?
Don’t judge this tea by its smell – if you’re worried about trying it, maybe buy a small portion of it, or wait until it makes its way into the rounds of Tea of the Day again; it tastes very woodsy, and then when it’s left your mouth you can taste the orange and ginger lingering behind on your tongue. It’s delicious, though not one of my go-to teas – it’s one of those teas that when I want it, nothing else is a suitable substitute.

I went to Teaopia yesterday to pick up some Irish Breakfast for Cooking Simplicitea, and when I smelled this tea, I had to get some – the smell is intoxicatingly good.
Once steeped, though, you can smell mostly the earthy black tea instead of the incredibly sweet cherry flavour, and the taste is only a subtle finish on an otherwise average black tea. It’s good, but the smell is so amazing that the taste – the important part – is a huge let-down. I’ll finish my bag, but I doubt I’ll be buying this again.

Drank this to soothe my aching stomach after eating something that didn’t agree with me. So, so glad that I have this tea in massive quantities!
