5 Tasting Notes
This tea surprised me. I normally don’t like red teas and the super lemony sent and taste didn’t seem “relaxing” like I would expect. I normally associate lemon sents with energizing qualities. My partner says it reminds him of Sweet Tarts…and, really, he’s right.
But, a little bit goes a long way. So, it’s a great bargain for the price. And, I like using it as a nitetime dessert tea.
This was /is my favorite pu-erh in the whole world…I died a little inside when Samovar stopped carrying it.
You better have a razor handy because this “manly” tea will put hair on your chest. Strong and smoky, my coworkers always ask what’s on fire when I brew this tea at my desk. It’s also great to marinade food in!
This is my go to pu-erh for every day drinking. It’s got a great flavor. The individually wrapped nuggets make it easy for me to take them to work. I heart these camels. :D
This brick is my favorite out of all Numi’s pu-erhs. It’s mellow, so I sttep it for longer that I typically steep my other pu-erhs. The squares make it easy to control portions.
