Like with a lot of teas on Adagio, unfortunately, you can’t steep this for very long before it gets bitter. I find 3 minutes is just right.

Smells creamy and caramely right out of the bag, and when it’s brewed, the smell is just gorgeous. Upon tasting, not bitter, and quite sweet. I haven’t had this with milk yet, but it’s probably brilliant.

I love this tea a lot!

Actually very nice. I’m considering blending this with the David’s apple pie to see if that brings out some of the spice I need in the pie blend.

Smells way better than it transmits; the memory of Teaopia’s pie oolong is still fresh, and this just tastes like a fairly weak cider. Still smells brilliant, though. Maybe a resteep would be better?

I so wish I could get my hands on more of this. As it stands, I think I have maybe two cups worth less, if I resteep what little I have left from my sample (by the third resteep, it loses some of its vigour). So warming and spicy, and the oolong adds depth to the blend. I’m going to miss it when I’m out.

drank Chamomile by Adagio Teas

I’ve never had a chamomile tea before. I’ve been avoiding it because I’m a bit wary of herbal infusions until recently. But I got this as a sample with a bulk order I did on Adagio, so it was a good time to overcome my chamomile apprehension.

Out of the bag, this smells very strong, an herby kind of caramel notion. I really don’t know how else to describe it, and I’m a little intimidated. It looks pretty cool, though. I steep it for the recommended five minutes, and taste it…

It tastes great! Very sweet and altogether quite agreeable. I’m feeling pretty relaxed right now too. NIce.

Essentially tastes like the limited-time Cookie Dough blend, which is really nice. I bring it out when I want that hit of nostalgia.

I wish the liquor weren’t so cloudy (all that candied fennel- looks great in the tin but it just muddies up the water), but this is a pretty great chai that goes good with milk and/or iced.

drank Chocolate Rocket by DAVIDsTEA

Making this right now. I have one of the travel tins of the stuff and as soon as I opened it I got the smell of Tootsie Rolls. That is not a bad thing at all.

Liquor smells nutty, tho the chocolate is still pretty prominent.

Upon tasting, it’s very rich and quite nutty- the almonds are pretty prominent. The chocolate is there, but mostly in aroma form. Pretty nice tea but not as sweet as I’d like. David’s Raspberry agave would be a great addition.

Nice to have on a hot day. I wish I could taste the chocolate a bit more.
