This was very tasty. I got a cherry syrup taste upon first tiny sip but not in an overpowering way. There is that roasty toasty genmaicha tea taste backing it. I like this one more than the browncoat genmaicha I had before from 52teas. I’m finishing up my thermos and kind of wishing I had more leaf to brew up some more.
It’s so peachy! I took this iced to work today, and was sad when I drank it all. It’s not too strong a fruit taste like when I’m drinking my Teavana teas, and the green tea base is noticeable but not too strong.
A little packet from the Christmas tea set thing… it is a weird tasting tea. It’s fruity and sweet in a generic way and oddly… creamy? Not something I’m liking as an iced tea. I was hoping for stronger ginger/lemon taste. I’m not buying the christmas days set from Teavana next year no matter how discounted. I haven’t really like any so far.

This is the best chocolate mint tea I’ve had so far… I mean, I haven’t had a lot but I really like this one. The flavor is very strong with a nice balance of chocolate and mint. If it was watery mint tasting, it’d be a no go.
Hmm, thought I’d typed this in already when I had it a couple days ago at work but I guess not. This tea tastes like it’s name. The dry leaf smelled mostly like pineapple gum but upon tasting it there’s a savory taste of bacon and sweet pineapple. It’s definitely something to try but not something I can drink everyday.
This was really good. At first, I was smelling something flowery and was worried something was wrong. But upon mixing well, the chocolate cookie and cream was yummy. It was even better having it mixed in with sugar and milk. I took it iced like that to work a couple times. A nice treat for long, tired days and a good pick me up :)
The taste is pretty light, I can taste the plum a little but not so much any spices. Steep longer?
*I got it from book club and it got lost in my pile o stuff lol. Thanks Josie :)
This is good. I’d forgotten what I’d taken in my thermos today and drank it, I tasted maple and pudding strongly :) easy to guess what tea it was.
Yanno when this is iced, the mint comes through more strongly than when hot. I like it hot but the temperature requires iced tea lately.
My second sample from my Butiki Teas order. It’s tasty. I guess because its a white tea, it tastes pretty light and I like the sweetness from the pineapple. I thought the cilantro would make it too herby I guess, but it’s not. I’m not even sure I’ve tasted cilantro by itself, but I taste a little something that I’m assuming is the cilantro but its not overpowering or too strong.
I got this as a sample with my order frm Butiki teas. I wanted to try this to see if it tasted something like these old Tamarind flavored candies I had when I was a kid going to grandma’s house. I was a little disappointed drinking it hot – taste was faint, it was more like it when I’d added sugar…And now that I’m just sitting around, the aftertaste of the tamarind is stronger and more like the flavor I remember. It’s pretty good. :) I appreciate that it brings back vague memories of childhood lol. Where are those candies now? I can’t even remember the wrapper, just the slight pink candy itself… so not helpful.
My first Butiki Teas tea. I was still so tired this morning I thought it’d be a good time to try this one out. I’ve never had a guayusa before but a non-jittery caffeine boost is what I needed. Today we were in for question and answer sessions so I wanted to be alert. It did make me more alert but I still got a little jittery, though it could also be that I was nervous to be interviewed. The effect was not long lasting for me today I got sooo tired in the afternoon I thought I might actually fall asleep in the hallway.
The flavor was a nice balanced blend of vanilla mint, the lavender was not noticeable much for me. I liked it, made me think of cookies and cupcakes… Mmm.
Ok so re-steeping this cold for the 3rd time was too ambitious. The flavor was barely there. 2 seems to be the magic number for me.

This is really good cold brewed. The blueberry and cream come out strong and the aftertaste is right on too. My favorite blueberry so far. I had this hot before and it didn’t impress me but this way the flavors are totally on it.

Fig Rose is the first of my Teavana April teas to go. All the ones I got were to be iced tea to take to work. This was a nice fruity iced tea with strong floral aftertaste too.
I hadn’t had a Mate tea before so was’t sure what to expect. It has a roasty, warm taste… I’m not really getting the red velvet cake part. Maybe if I think about what’s supposed to taste like I think I can taste chocolate. Maybe I need to steep longer.

This is just really tasty. This definitely and with no hesitation goes on my list of favorite teas. It’s got a toasty, chocolatey taste. Tastes good with sweetened milk too – definitely a treat.
