I got this at the Merrie Monarch fair. I wasn’t sure what to get but the lady next to me told me she really likes this one as a substitute for coffee. It really hits that spot, and today I’ve tried it with sweetened milk and it is such a good latte sub. I’ve actually been drinking this everyday for a while, just too lazy to add this on the database to log it but since I keep on drinking it… :). Too bad it’s on Oahu, hope I find it at another fair when I want more so I don’t have to order online.
This is a good iced tea. I think there’s just a touch too much rose since the floral sometimes overpowers the fruit flavor but it’s nice and refreshing.
Ah, sweet potato pie… I can taste sweet potato but I don’t think pie when I drank it. The bag got a little squished when I had it so a lot of little dust particles floating in my tea so it was pretty dark for a 3 minute steep, not sure if that’s the right color. Tastes ok, but not something I’d get more of.
Oh, I like this one iced a lot! The taste is like a flat lime cola, it’s kind of amazing. Considering I didn’t like the butterbeer one I was a bit wary but I am happy to have gotten this. Makes me think of trying the butterbeer again sometime to see if I was too hasty in judgment. I don’t know what rum taste I’m supposed to get but since I don’t drink a lot of rum maybe it doesn’t really matter :)
Drank the last bit of the sample I got from Yssah. Thought I wrote a tasting note when I tried it first but I guess not. It’s a delicate tasting Earl Grey, not strong so it’s pleasant all by itself.
This is the last of it from the try me pack I bought. It’s a very good chocolate tea and the pumpkin part is nicely done as well. I had wanted to try it with milk like as a latte but now it’s all gone…

This one and I are not getting along too well. I think I’m constantly oversteeping, whether hot or cold because it has a bitter, unpleasant taste. Stronger when I gulp a lot down at once… hmm. It is probably because it’s a white tea and I don’t have a thermometer.

When I went to convention this past weekend I got to go shopping. Alright! I went to Teavana to grab some fruity tea that would be good as an iced tea. The girl I got was nice, not real pushy about getting me to buy the tin or try smelling too many things. I went back with my co-conventioneer and her sales lady was soooo pushy about her buying the tin… to the point where it irritated me and I wasn’t the customer at the time..
Anyway, I like it. The fig is strong and it’s sweet enough not to need sugar. As it got warmer, the hibiscus came out more and it got a shade too tart. The creamyness is nice, it adds to the smell and somehow makes me think of butter. It’s good but not good enough for me to be certain I want to rebuy it.
I like this one but I don’t get a strong a strong pumpkin taste. The spice and cinnamon is appealing and with the days that I’ve been having lately it’s a nice tea to sip and smell. I actually had this yesterday too but couldn’t remember what the name was :) I was thinking it was fireside spice for a bit, good thing I checked.
So very good, I took this hot and cold to work. I like it a lot and definitely can see why people talked about a sweet potato taste. Yum.
This is a nice black tea, not too strong but tasty. At first I wasn’t tasting any almond whatsoever but it came out as it cooled a bit.
Thanks for swapping Yssah :)

This tea has a bright orange taste. I don’t taste any caramel like taste, but it’s a nice orange tea so far.
So this one’s all gone :(. I like it because of the ginger, but sometimes wished it was stronger tasting so I think I used a lot to brew and so I went through my sample pretty darn quickly. Hard to decide if this one is one I’d want to reorder.
