In the herbal tissane category, I have to have this tea. I grew up drinking this flavor-enhanced blend of herbs, fruit, and flowers.
Plop two bags in a water bottle. Cold brew is fine, and extracts much of the flavor. It’s never bitter. If you travel and doubt that you will enjoy the flavor of the water where you are going, filtered or otherwise, use this gentle lift to create satisfactory thirst-quenching with no calories.

It’s a cheap, old faithful. I come back to this because I was raised on it. Several of my friends want a tea they can put milk and sugar in, so we find this does a more than adequate job.
This vintage tea is strong, without being sweet or floral. Yet it has strong texture, and holds up to many infusions.
Earthy, full, and grounding. 10 plus infusions still yielded a tea that still had wonderful flavor, as it lessened in color. Brewed Gongfu style in a Yixing tea pot, it is said to be able to take 20 plus infusions and still be flavorful, even when brewed clear in color. The effect of this tea is felt on the whole body, as you drink each infusion you may notice different effects.
Li Jai Ping (viillage) Lao Cong (old bush) is a more descriptive title for this tea.
Earthy and grounding, this tea yields multiple infusions when brewed Gongfu style for about 20 seconds (like most of the Dan Cong teas). My stomach was calmed and soothed.
A passionately floral tea. Still floral, through multiple infusions…6 plus.
Delightfully strong fragrance and flavor. Is more accessible than the other Dan Cong’s I tasted, yet a flavorful and multi-steep-able brew.
Basic and delish.
Cooling and refreshing, perhaps due to the chrysanthemum blossoms used.
A black display tea, or tea flower, the flavor of this particular tea is quite smooth. It’s not overly bitter, and does not require the addition of any sweetener.
This does not tastes especially jasmine like.
The lemongrass in this tea keeps the flavor bright.
Full leaf tea, organic and naturally scented. In pyramid tea bags for ease of use. A mood enhancer which does not require much thought, especially in the work environment.
I prefer to remove the plastic bit that attaches the string to the bag, and I rip it off by taking off the string along with it.
