Its not just for breakfast….
11 Tasting Notes
This is extremely good tea. I make it with a fair amount of milk and a bit of sugar and find it very satisfying. It must have a high caffeine content as it really gets me going. Great stuff, I will for sure be ordering some more once I am out of my initial 125g stash.
Again with the Se Chung ;-)
This tea is very highly rated on the Upton website so I purchased a sample. Its a good tea but for the price its not something I would purchase again. I can get 800g of Z010 ‘China Oolong Se Chung’ for the price of 125g of this and I find the ZO10 to be a tastier tea…easy shopping choice.
I am not a big fan of this tea, its OK, but I cant help thinking about how much more I enjoy some other white teas I have had in the past. I find it to be a little bitter and it leaves a bit of a funky coating in my mouth.
I love everything about this tea. It has a pretty funky look due to the ginseng coating, but the coating makes it like two teas in one…the 1st infusion and the 2nd are totally different experiences. Both great. This is one of the few teas that I buy in large qty to make sure I will always have some to drink, I would hate for it to become unavailable ;-) I recently found a small bag that was purchased well over a year ago and the tea was still great, I think the ginseng coating might help it stay preserved….maybe.
I really enjoy this tea, lots of flavor. I rarely bother to brew another green tea when I have some of this available.
This is my current ‘standard’ tea that I am drinking. For the money its tough to beat, but I would be happy with it at twice the price. It seems to have a pretty good caffeine content as it can really get me going…
