I had to go to work WAAAY earlier than I normally to this morning. So i broke out the Assam. I like to treat myself with this one when I know i am going to have a day that will be particularly hard.
108 Tasting Notes
My boyfriend made me a cup this afternoon, though we shared the sachet so it wasn’t steeped for very long. Oh well, it’s still a happy cup of tea. :)
My sister picked this up this weekend. She made me a cup this evening. Quite a tasty cup! I LOVE cranberry so this one seems right up my alley. I liked it, but it was a bit sweet/tart, so it won’t be an everyday cuppa.
A very nice cup of Earl Grey.

I need a nice light tea this morning. This one always delivers.
2nd pot of tea today. Again, another one with strong flavors to override my less than responsive taste buds. YAY HEAD COLDS….ugh.
Brewed a pot of this to take to work with me. I love my travel teapot so much.
I have found that with my cold, drinking strong flavored teas is better because I can actually taste them. I am so in love with the smokey flavoring of this tea. I could drink pot after pot of it. :)

I ended 2010 with a pot of this. It was a nice end cap to the new year. Here’s hoping 2011 will be a good year!
I’m having a pot of this before bed to soothe my throat and suppress my cough. It seems to be working. I am so glad to have this tea back in my cupboard. I’ve missed it quite a bit.
When you are home sick you drink tea. This morning, I have in my 20oz travel teapot Queen Catherine. It’s waking me up and soothing my throat.
Went on a shopping spree yesterday at Harney & Sons in SoHo. Picked up a 4oz tin of this. And boy am I happy I did. This is one of those teas that makes the day start off correctly.
The sweet aroma and fruit flavors awaken the pallate.
20oz of this in my travel tea pot, helps you forget how mad you are that you have to go to work retail after your area is hit with over 11 inches of snow.

I had two cups of this today at work while dealing with the last-minute holiday shoppers.
Wore a pair of fuzzy reindeer antlers, and tried to stay as cheerful as possible.

Bad day at work today. But this was in my tea mug.
Every time I took a sip, i was transported to my happy place.
This tea truly starts my day off the right way.
I woke up too late yesterday morning, so I didn’t have time to brew a proper cup of tea at home. So my alternative? This, in a paper cup from the bakery next door from work.
Not a bad cup of Earl Grey, but let’s be honest, nothing tastes good in a paper to go cup.
Ate at Harney SoHo for lunch today.
Oh man the food was tasty. I had Ham and Gruyere Scones which came with this KILLER mustard. I don’t usually like mustard, but this was FANTASTIC.
I also got myself a tea to go. I would have splurged for a small pot of tea, but during my lunch break, time is of the essence. So i couldn’t relax with a whole pot.
I’ve wanted to try Queen Catherine for a while. And i am sad I waited this long! I love the smokey flavor of the tea. The blend of the 3 black teas, is perfect.
This certainly is on my shopping list now, oh how my tea cabinet is growing!

First of all: COLOR. Holy cow, what a beautiful deep purple.
