Brewed my last sachet of this today. I left in a hurry this morning so i didn’t have time to clean my favorite travel mug. So i had to use another one that was lying around the house. Things I learned: My favorite travel mug is my favorite for a reason. And that reason is that it keeps it hot for 5 hours, where the mug i used this morning was cold after an hour.
I really like the lightness of this tea. I really can’t wait for the holidays are over, so that I can buy more of it. (I have been told not to buy anymore until after Christmas, i hope this means i am getting a Harney & Sons gift certificate)
108 Tasting Notes
Apricot again this morning. The flavor just makes the day start off sweet. I can now see the bottom on my 7oz tin. Looks like I will be refilling it after christmas!!
White Christmas on TV and White Christmas Tea in my mug.
I am not sure about this tea. I brewed it for about 5 min, but it still tasted very weak. The almond flavoring throws me off a bit as well. I think I like the idea of this tea more than I like the taste of this tea.
Another morning, another cup of Apricot tea. It makes me smile when I am trying to rub the sleep out of my eyes.
Long day and a long meeting to start off the morning. So i chose this today for my travel mug. I love the sweet and tart flavor of the apricot with the black tea. It awakens my senses. I also noticed this morning that i am close to finishing my 7oz tin which is exciting!
No notes yet.
A long day needs a calming decaf tea before bed.
Things that make me sad: Not being able to brew this properly.
I was too much in a rush this morning so i only got maybe a 2 min brew.
it’s still a tasty tea, but the flavors are so much richer, when brewed properly.

Me:mom, what tea should I have this morning?
Mom: Something Happy
[picks up Paris]
A night with good friends, a great movie and a fire roaring in the fireplace. What better tea to drink on a night like that?
Was woken up really early this morning on my only day off this week by my co-worker who had a very stupid question about work.
So i needed something strong this morning.
Brewed this again for work today. I have to up my rating on this one. It just makes me smile with every sip. I cannot help myself from drinking cup after cup. My travel mug only holds 16oz, I wish it held more.
The aroma of this tea makes me relaxed, and the taste? divine.
after a long day of feeling grumpy, i need a nice calming tea before bed.
I can’t put my finger on what i like the most about this tea. So i won’t try to explain it. just try it, you’ll enjoy it.
Another Important Lesson: A Keurig is only for coffee. NOT TEA.
Had a cup of this tonight, brewed in water from my boyfriend’s Kuerig. I usually really love this tea, it’s a nice simple Rooibos. But tonight? It tasted like coffee. way bitter, and wrong.
A grey morning calls for a bright tea.
Tomorrow marks the first day of December. Therefore I had to buy this year’s supply of Holiday tea. It isn’t the holiday season without it. I am always surprised on how light the flavor is compared to it’s aroma. And of course I am not bothered by it one bit. Very ‘spicy’ smells/flavors don’t always go well with my palate, so the light flavor of this tea makes my taste buds happy.
Had this tea this morning. It’s been a while. It was a nice light flavor to wake up with. I think I am going to try to make this an iced tea. I feel like that would make it even more refreshing.
Made this for my travel mug today. It was the perfect pick-me up through my work shift. The smokey flavoring never gets old from sip to sip. The only problem was that i forgot that green tea tends to boost your metabolism a bit. I got hungry for my dinner break way too fast.
After yesterday’s lackluster attempt at Golden Blend, this morning’s wake up cup had to be Assam Golden Tips. Oh so good. :)
I learned an important lesson today: don’t brew tea at work. (if you work retail)
Why? You end up leaving the teabag in your travel mug for 20 minutes as you help customers and make your favorite tea taste like crap.
I am finding out more and more everyday that brew times are very important.
I bought this thinking it would be a cheaper alternative to Assam Golden Tips. It’s a good tea, but I really like the Golden Tips better. I am glad I only have a sampler of this one..
My boyfriend purchased some of this last week, and finally gave me a few tea bags this evening. Oh man this tea is great.
I am trying to make the effort to brew each tea i have at it’s proper brewing times, and I have found it to be a very pleasant experience. Steeping this for 5 min really brings all of the fruit flavors out. I have a feeling this is going to become one of my morning teas.
Brewed this for my travel mug to bring to my Black Friday work shift. I think I chose the right tea. The aroma and taste, just put me in a happy mood during the short moments I had when I could take a break from customers.
