drank Sencha Makurazaki by Lupicia
1711 tasting notes

1st review on my iPhone! Get ready for a bunch of errors!

I got this as a sample on a recent trip to a Lupicia store! I never realized there were so many types of sencha. This one is really nice. I steeped it for a minute in under boiling
water. It is smooth with a bit of that grassy greenness. The sip is buttery while the after taste has a bit of the green wheatgrass type tang. I’m not big into sencha, but I’d like to cross paths with this tea again.

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
