drank Grand Bazaar by American Tea Room
1711 tasting notes

This tea smells SO wonderful in the bag! Rich, nutty and sweet. It smells that way when steeped too, but I’m finding the flavor comes through more fruity than I expected from the scent; almost a cherry apricot flavor. The almonds have a deeper baked smell, like in a pastry. I added some creamer and it changed the taste quite a bit. I get more of a fresh grass like the ending tang of wheat grass. Maybe I’ll try adding a little sugar and holding the cream on my next go at this tea. I’m enjoying it and intrigued by it, but I haven’t quite figured it out yet either.

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
