What am I doing?! I’m having the worst Butiki sip downs ever! My penance for hoarding and letting tea go bad. Or it could just be that I dumped all the dustings in the bottom of the bag in my steeper. I’m not getting much licorice, just that too-much-clove bitterness. Never noticed clove in this before. As I sip on I get a little more licorice and that tingling sensation on my tongue from the cloves. I’m not enjoying this cup. What a rotten way to say “So Long”.

Oh no, I’m still hoarding my last little bit of this one too—I suppose I’d better get on it. Despite not being a huge licorice fan generally, I adored this blend—so unique and unexpected.
I was hoping my Butiki stash would stay preserved a bit longer… like forever. Now I’m trying to get through them as fast as possible.
It is down right tragic!
I went through this one really fast. I wish I’d ordered more. Got another licorice one from a local lady but it isn’t the same. I wish they could be preserved forever too! :/

My Butiki teas seem to be holding on for as long as they can – most of them still taste just as they did when I first bought them, only maybe not quite as strong. Every time I see a tasting note like this it makes me panic. I will always miss Butiki. ):
