drank Chestnut by Adagio Teas
1711 tasting notes

I think I picked up this tea from a long ago traveling tea box. It is holding up remarkably well! The flavor is a little thin and flat on the sip, especially once it cools. It starts to change at the end of the sip, the chestnut starts to creep in and after the sip I can pick up all the brown sugar and nutty references. The base is really hard to pick out and notice. It would be nice if the tea were a little heartier and filled in some of the base notes. Overall this tea is enjoyable, but not amazing. I want amazing, so in the pile it goes to find another home.

Bio

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
