Lightly smokey and toasty. Yum! This is a great oolong for people who love genmaicha or hojicha.
Update: Second steep is even better than the first. Loving this tea.

This has been such an enjoyable tea that I’m sad to see it go. I love watching the tea leaves unfurl. So beautiful. The floral honey flavor is excellent. Oolongs really are the best.

Sipdown. I really did enjoy this tea. Sad to see it go.
Discovered I am out of milk after making this. Sad to not have a milky rooibos tonight. It is still yummy on its own.
I had to drop of a return to UPS and my favorite tea shop is right next door, so naturally I had to go in :) Just to window shop. Right. Picked up another ounce of the delicious peach oolong they carry and grabbed some of this to try. So glad I did. I purchased it loose leaf.
It’s very nice and tart with the pomegranate flavor. The oolong beautifully expanded in my Teaze. I should have taken a picture. Next time. Like the peach oolong, I really thing this would be amazing iced. I’m going to have a lot of fun this spring/summer :)
BTW, my sissy just joined Steepster!! You should follow her. Her name is Anna. She sends me tea and brings me tea when I see her. Gotta love it!!
Sipdown sadness :(
I think I’ve found another purse tea. Earthy pu-erh and cardamom are a perfect blend for a cold winter afternoon. A great bagged tea.
Does anyone actually still watch SNL?? At my parents house, absolutely nothing on TV, playing with the on demand, now watching SNL. Who are these people?
Anywho, tried this tea today at a coffee house in my hometown. Despite the fact that the water was way too hot (so hot it took 30 minutes to cool enough to drink – wish I was kidding) this tea was delicious. No bitterness and wonderful peach flavor. I think it would be great cold. I may have to get some to make iced tea. It would be awesome.
You can’t have the hop if you don’t have the hip.
Oolong meets English Breakfast.
Soooo glad I purchased this tea. It is everything I had hoped for. I love the blend of ginger and vanilla with a light note of coconut. Now I really want some Thai coconut curry noodle soup. Too bad I don’t have any curry paste or coconut milk right now. Time to go grocery shopping.
Sipdown + Avengers = Great way to spend a Monday night.
I can’t get enough Jeremy Renner. I may love him more after watching him sing on Saturday Night Live http://vimeo.com/53767360 :)
Very impressed with this tea. It was one of the many teas LiberTEAS sent me in my Christmas package. The rose and black tea are balanced very well. The black base is a delicious malty black that I’m totally digging. This is hitting the spot this evening.

I love Earl Grey and this is my first cream. I like the addition of vanilla in the flavors. It’s very smooth and bergamot-y.
I like the suggestion of making a London Fog. I may have to try that next. It is crazy foggy here, so it would be fitting.
Just realized that it has been a long time since I’ve had a rooibos tea in the evening. Tonight’s the night :)
This tea is so delicious. Creamy lemon yum. My favorite way to drink rooibos is with milk and honey.
Catching up on Tivo from the week and enjoying a good cuppa. Great way to finish the weekend :)
Finally, a lazy Sunday afternoon. Long week.
This tea is delightful. I get fruity and honey notes with each sip. There’s also a bit of smokiness to it.
Time for a second steep :)
Spicy sweet sipdown. My only sipdown for this Saturday since it was such a busy day.
Spicy vanilla deliciousness. Sadly, I can’t taste the ginger because the cinnamon overtakes it. This tea is quite sweet without adding any sweeteners. I may add a bit of milk to make it more decadent. I could use that this evening. Feeling quite exhausted. Is 8 pm too early to go to sleep?!?
This is hitting the spot this morning. I’m leading a Confirmation retreat with 7 kids today. I’ll be away from my tea stash all day. This was the tea I chose to bring with me for the day. So glad I did. Green teas, oolongs, and pu-erhs are quickly becoming my go to teas. I used to only drink black teas :)
Okay, time to start thinking about prevenient grace and the Wesleyan Quadrilateral :)
A practically magical tea while watching Practical Magic.
My new favorite snack is edamame. It’s green, healthy, and delicious.
At first sniff of this tea, I was worried I had dropped a bean or 2 into my cup. It smells almost identical to my edamame. Can this be true?? Liquid edamame?? I am amazed at how much it even tastes like it too. How intriguing.
Toasty deliciousness.
I think I just found another staple for my tea cabinet!
Smokey, crisp and delightful :)
A cup of tea, a blanket, and a book – my 3 favorite things.
Generally my favorite teas tend to be oolong, pu-erh, or green.
My tea ratings reflect my feelings about the tea. That’s just how I roll.
My profile picture is of my mom and I. She is my best friend and the person who introduced me to tea and tea cup collecting.
