Just finished reading Sense & Sensibility this weekend. In celebration, I am enjoying a good cuppa and watching the delightful film adaptation with Emma Thompson & Hugh Grant.

Hours at a training meeting today were brightened by the thermos of this tea.
Learned today that the number one identifier of abuse is isolation. Sometimes this world makes my heart hurt.
What could make a Sunday afternoon more comfortable? Ah yes, a maple cream tea latte sweetened with maple syrup. Perfection. How will I ever drink this tea any other way?!?
Downton Abbey marathon in preparation of the series 3 premiere tonight!! Anyone else excited??
Bright cheerful Sunday morning. Loving the blend of citrus and ginger. Yum.
Now time to make another pot and spend some time reading.
It’s me with a new profile picture. My mom and I spent the day enjoying lunch at the Dragonfly Artisan Tea Cottage in Sylvania and shopping. It was lovely.
My mom had me choose the tea today because she says I’m the tea expert :) I chose this because my mom loves fruit teas. It is wonderfully fruity and sweet on its own. I’m learning to enjoy fruit teas more. If you’re ever in the Toledo area, the Dragonfly is the place to go!!
Green tea is growing on me. This was one of the 6 tea samples I received from the Whistling Kettle today.
When I sip it it tastes very creamy and then leaves with a grassy green tea flavor. The blueberry notes in it are wonderful. I really like how complementary all these flavors are together. Yum!! 0 calorie pie for a new year resolution.
Absolutely excited to receive this in the mail today. The Whistling Kettle had it in a flash sale the other day on this and I picked up a bunch of samples too. Looking forward to trying them all.
I am not a tea purist. I added a bit of milk and sugar to this delicious dessert tea after noticing it was a bit bitter. I think a 4 minute steep was a bit too much for the delicate flavors. There is an interesting play with floral and maple notes. I like it. Looking forward to my next cup.
Needed a pick me up. These gloomy days are bringing me down.
Cuppa in hand, flat bread pizza in the oven, MI-5 on the tele = exactly what I need.
Still enjoying the sample of this Nicole sent me. It’s definitely a top tea for me. I like how smooth and simple it is. A pleasant cuppa for a dreary day.
Lemon Heaven is what this tea should be named. It’s a perfectly smooth and delicious rooibos. It reminds me of Adagio’s Lemon Cloud. It also reminds me of the amazing lemon meringue pie my grandmother used to make. WOW! Definitely a dessert tea worth trying. YUM! It made my Flikr Happy365 photo for the day. A bright tea for a dreary winter’s day.
Thank you LiberTEAS for this treat. Oolong is a favorite of mine.
Lovely bright floral and honey notes. Smooth and fresh. I love how mild the floral flavor is. It doesn’t overwhelm me. It is perfectly balanced with the honey. Brilliant!
Happy Hunger Ga…wait, I mean Happy New Year!
Some mornings I wake up knowing exactly which tea I’m going to make and some mornings I can’t decide. This morning, I thought I’d kick of the new year with the tea everyone on Steepster seems to adore. I picked up a sample of this when Verdant had their free shipping last week.
At first infusion, I’m tasting a smooth almost wheat-like flavor. It leaves a buttery feel on my tongue. Sadly, I’m not getting all the other notes Verdant lists on their site. We’ll see what the next couple infusions bring. Overall a good black tea to with which to start the year :) And may the odds be ever in your favor.
Update: Second infusion tastes much like the first. Going to set the leaves aside for later and brew up a different tea for now.
Drinking my favorite tea to celebrate 2012. A good year :)
Della Terra has not failed me yet. I love how smooth and caramel-y this is. A nice caffeine free treat before bed.
Got this amazing tea infuser for Christmas. Love it! It makes brewing tea so much simpler and is easy to clean. Mine came from teajo.
Wow! This tea packs a punch. It’s to tea what espresso is to coffee. Rich, malty, and brilliant. Absolutely no bitterness, just sharp assam glory.
Thank you LiberTEAS for sharing this sample.
This is one of the many teas I had on my vacation that I didn’t get a chance to log. Thought I should try it again before logging it :) This is a wonderful chocolate-y treat for a Sunday afternoon. I taste more chocolate than I do hazelnut which is a bit of a let down. Still all in all a good chocolate tea.
A spicy start to a Sunday morning.
Yum yum yum yum yum. Della Terra does it again. This was one of 3 rooibos teas I got from Della Terra for Christmas. It’s a perfect spice tea for the holidays.
I have the best parents ever!! This is one of 2 teas they picked up for me from a place in Ann Arbor. I enjoyed it this morning.
The oolong is definitely center stage with the ginger making a cameo appearance. Oolong is becoming my favorite tea. This was perfect for this cold snowy morning.
Time to pack for the drive home. I’ve been vacationing at my parent’s house all week. It will be weird to be home alone this evening. Looking forward to having a cuppa and watching the Avengers.
I had my first genmai cha yesterday at an Asian cafe. Immediately, I fell in LOVE!! Purchased this today at the Asian grocery and it comes pretty close. I was hoping for a loose leaf tea, but this was the only offering they had. I love the toasted sesame sort of flavor that the rice gives. It’s nice and clean. It’s a tea I could drink every day.
Got this at Yogic’s pre Black Friday sale. Finally getting a chance to enjoy it – and boy is it enjoyable. A beautiful blend of chai spices. Made a foamy latte with it. YUM!
It’s been a few days since I posted. It’s hard to find time to post when you’re celebrating Christmas with family and friends. I’ll just have to make all the teas I’ve had again to post later ;)
