I brewed this the same way that I found worked for me when I first tried this. I used 200°F water and brewed for 2 minutes 30 seconds. This time I then chilled the pitcher overnight in the refrigerator.
I really like this tea. The tea really has a smooth, malty, chocolaty essence to it. I think the cherry taste has subsided just a touch over time, but I can still taste it. There is no bitterness or astringency. Just don’t let it steep too long. The aftertaste is clean and reminiscent of chocolate cherry. I’m really enjoying the chocolaty notes in this. It makes a great iced tea.
