Not really a lot of tangerine specifically, but I do really like it. There is a lot of citrus going on, and the green tea is nice too. The wife got me some for Christmas and I just had to order some more.

Not going to lie, this one is awesome! Nice and complex with all the spices. The pepper and cardamom work really well with the mint. I did find the tea wanted some sweetener, so I added a tsp of natural sugar. :) So good. In fact, the wife had an upset stomach last night and I made some of this for her. Helped her settle down.

It’s alright for a green, but kind of … uninspired? It’s not a bad, tea, but I much prefer Tao of Tea’s sencha to their Jade Cloud.

This is really, really nice. The wine notes are bold but not overwhelming, and the green tea clearly shines through. There’s a remarkable floral quality to the dry tea that reminds me strongly of grape must. It’s also present in the liquor, but more subtly. A really nice blend.

This is a very good, really smooth green tea. I steeped it for 3 minutes (recommended on the packet) and found that to be too long. I’m fairly sensitive to bitterness though. My second steeping for 90 seconds came out much better.

This has a wonderful fresh vegital aroma when dry with strong notes of grass and much lighter of spinach and smoke. The smokiness is there in the tea in the background. It doesn’t push to the front at all but does make itself known. Its definitely slightly sweet and grassy and very, very smooth. The after notes are exactly the same flavors as when drinking directly for a loooong finish.

If you’re looking for a medium flavored (as opposed to a delicate or strongly flavored) sencha that’s delightfully smooth, this is the one.

I’m not a big fan of Teavana’s agressive selling techniques, but I and my daughter both like this tea a lot. I steeled myself to brave the local mall just after Christmas and to my delight found it on sale for 75% off :)

It has the perfect notes of sweetness and astringency and is well balanced in flavor with lots of yummy orange in both flavor and aroma. It’s my favorite orange tea.

I’m not a huge fan of coconut in my tea, it usually smells musty to me. Hot, this was..ok, but nothing to rave over or seek out to drink again. But cold? Wowzers this is gooood! I added a tsp of agave to the hot tea and because I wasn’t thrilled with it, the cup sat around and got cold. I’m so glad it did! This is very fruity and refreshing while cold. I can easily see myself drinking a lot more of this in the summer.

This one is really nice and smooth. Not a lot of grapefruit taste on drinking, but the afternotes are fantastic. I get that little astringent bite on my tongue exactly like I do after eating some grapefruit.

This is fantastic! The ginger is there in the aroma when dry along with a little sage and the basil. And then when drinking it? It’s fantastic. I’m really impressed by the gentleness and complexity of Verdant Tea’s blends. Usually if a tea is gentle, it’s not complex, but they manage to pull if off yet again. The basil, sage, and lemon are there at the beginning of the sip, and then the ginger comes in – gently – at the end to finish it off.

Science nerd by trade, I teach A&P at the college level and relax by having some tea and reading some good science fiction.

I really like green and white tea but don’t care for coffee or the black teas. Matcha is good (at least when I’m not making it) but I’m caffeine sensitive so I don’t have it a lot.
