This is my second tastin of it, and hopfully be better than the first.
After steeping-
Scent: Heavy rum and slight caramel
Color: Golden
Taste-
Nude: Rum body with caramel and almost honey after taste, very smooth
With sugar: Rum and caramel mixture, sweet and smooth, very sweet!
*I was craving alcoho, so I added bacardi (i dodn’t have Captain Morgan) with a litle sugar—Not bad, but needs a spiced rum
Color: rose
Scent: raspberry
Taste
Nude: raspberry, after taste of Vanilla
With sugar: Vanilla with and aftertaste of Raspberry
*personally, it was very Raspberry-esk
Pre steeping
Scent rooibios and orange
After steeping
Scent: rooibios
Color: amber
Taste
Nude: rooibios and strong taste of orange
With sugar: very orangey flavor
Pre Steeping
Scent- apples
After steeping
Scent: apple and cinnamon
Color: golden
Taste
Nude: apple and cinnamon, almost like a cider
With sugar: added caramel flavor and after taste of apple; eventually has a caramel apple flavor
Before steeping:
Scent- Very strong stawberries, sweet and a hint of chocolate
After Steeping:
Scent- Chocolate with an undertone of strawberries
Color- Dark Aubern
Taste:
Nude-Black tea, hint of strawberries, very smooth with a hint of a chocolate after tast
With sugar- Chocolate and black tea, still smoth and a heavy strawberry taste
with cream- Black tea, slight strawberry taste—Lots of flavor
with Cream and sugar- STRAWBERRY!!!! with a slight after taste of chocolate
*prefered nude, there it is light and tasteful
First attempt, apparently I didn’t wash the teapot all the way through, there was still some tealeaves init So i had to throw ot the water, and filled the teapot 1/2 full and boil another pot of water….so here we go…
Before steeping:
Scent- Carmel and sugar along with black tea
After Steeping:
Scent- sugar-fresh cookies
Color-Dark Aburn
Taste:
Nude: watery-slight sugary taste
with sugar: sugar water
with milk tastes like nothing
with milk and sugar: sweet cinimon, and sugary, nice and clming. A tasty treat
*I have come to the conclusion, that I just can make tea right, and it sadens me, I will try it again and hopefully it shall be mor tastey.
Before steeping:
Scent- Dark chocolate and chesnut
After Steeping:
Color- Honey
Scent- Nutella and black tea and a hiny of Vanilla
Taste:
Nude- Rich hazelnut, very strong flavoring, though I wish it was a bit thicker, almost like a coffee
With sugar- very chocolaty, with a vauge hnt of vanilla
*Marron Chocolat has a extreamly rich flavor, vry warm and delicious
Before Steeping:
Scent- Very sweet, smells like Jucyfruit gum
After Steeping:
Color- Bight yellow
scent- a little less Jucyfruitish
Taste:
Nude- Jucyfruit, very strongtaste, it’s more of a melon-like tea
With sugar- just very wrong, like jucyfruit on a sugar high
*in all a calming tea, Not necessarily a fan of it, but I don’t like Jucyfruit gum
Before Steeping:
Scent- Bluebery, black tea and lemon
Affter Steeping:
Scent- bluebery, black tea and clorox… Appolling to the scences.
Color- Amber
Taste:
Nude- Bluebery, Black tea (a heavy earl grey taste) with Carpet cleaner
With sugar- Sugar and Pinesole.
*in all …EW!
Before Steeping:
Scent-Very orange like,with a suttle hint of Chocolate
After Steeping:
Color- Dark Orange- dark black
Scent- Nice mix of Chocolaty orange
Taste:
Nude- like a Chocolate Orange candy. No taste of black tea
With Sugar-Boosts the flavor of the orange
*a great desert tea, with flamboyant flavor
Before Steeping:
Color- Black Tea
Scent- Rich Full Body black Tea
After Steeping:
Color- Honey/Amber
Scent-Honey and Black Tea
Taste:
Nude- Rich black tea, with a slight taste honey
With Sugar- Honey like very tea
*could be a bit stronger, to add a little more tea into the pot, otherwise, one of my favorite black teas
Before Steeping:
Color- Browns, golds, caramels…etc
Scent- Rum, with a hint Caramel
After Steeping:
Color- Amber
Scent- Caramel, and a hint of rum
Taste:
Nude- waterdown rum, with butterscotch and caramel
With Sugar- heightened the flavor of everything
*would be a great desert tea, the only issue that I had with it was that it was too watery, next time I might increase the amount and lengthen the steeping time
Before Steeping:
Coloring- Flowers and Green Tea
Scent- Vanilla and Green Tea
After Steeping:
Color- Yellow
Scent- light Vanilla
Taste:
Nude- Very Green Tea-sec, with a slight hint of vanilla
With Sugar- Very vanilla-like taste with an aftertast of Green Tea
*Very delicate, very delicious highly recommend
Before Steeping:
Scent- Very nutty, mainly Hazelnut.
After Steeping:
Color- A very clear yellow, not yet green.
Scent- Hazelnut, and some other type of roasted nut.
Taste:
Nude- VERY nutty,not quite sure that I like it, tastes like rum without alcohol.
Experiment- added Captain Morgan Spiced Rum…FAIL,, just dont do it, it was VERY watery.
With Sugar- not that bad
*Though I am not a Oolong tea fan, I wanted to try something different, generally I am not in Love with it.
Before Steeping:
Colors- beautiful multicolors
Scent- nutty and vanilla
After Steeping:
Color: orangeish, with herbal essance
Taste:
Nude- Very Vanilla-like, kind of grainy. Not sure if is just the vanilla bean.
With Sugar- grain texture dissapeared, heightened vanilla taste, quite like vanilla extract.
*would be great with a scone
Before Steeping:
Colors- Pink/red rose petals and black tea
Scent- Blooming pink roses and blac ktea
After Steeping:
Coloring- Green Tea
Taste:
Nude- front taste of roses and a after taste of black tea
with sugar- intensified rose flavor
*very delicate
