Mannong’s white buds are first rate. There’s an extraordinary soft mouth-feel with a slight honeysuckle sweetness that grows with subsequent infusions. After a fre steeps, let the leaves rest overnight and re-steep in the morning.
There are few estates in India that can produce a tea as expressive as Makaibari. The estate does have better offerings but Hampstead Tea’s one is still very impressive. Fresh, muscatel, a hint of grass.
