I used a bowl that has cup demarcations to measure out my water for a pot of this tea because my measuring cup was otherwise engaged in making Russian Tea Cakes (and my extra measuring cup smashed to bits about two weeks ago – SUCH a butterfingers!).
When I went to pour the brewed tea, each cup was barely half full! I guess this was not the worst way to find out that this bowl’s marks are COMPLETELY off (imagine if I measured the liquids for baking in it!!). The resulting pot of tea was quite, quite strong! I put some extra milk into it, but it served to make it lukewarm, too milky, yet still too strong.
I want to throw these bowls through the window! but I will use them as prep bowls (especially since they were a gift from my sis in law)!
The Russian Tea Cakes were fantastic though :)

At least the tea cakes were amazing! I’m a butterfingers with glass objects (especially wine glasses).

Me too! My grandmother’s crystal is a shadow of its former self! I envision her in her grave, rolling, and saying “Oh no! Jacqueline broke ANOTHER one!”
