My cup of Queen Catherine was SO exquisite this morning!!!! It could be because someone left the window open by accident at work, and the slight smokiness was the exact thing to warm me up. It could be because I’m getting brave and put in a little more leaf, and the flavors hit that happy perfection point. It could be because I needed to drink a tea which was named after a Queen, so that I could imbibe a little regal bearing for what is sure to be a tough day.

For whatever reason, Thank You Queen Catherine! You are so delicious today!!!

I love to cook, bake, read, paint, knit, do needlework, and garden. I need my coffee, but I LOVE my tea. I work at an Art School, and attend a large public university doing post-bac work (my BA is in English). I’m interested in the liminal spaces between art and craft, the academic and the practical, the individual and community, and the old and the new.
