drank White Christmas by Harney & Sons
1908 tasting notes

When I opened the tin the first thing I thought was “Mmm, white chocolate…drool” -as you can probably guess, I’m a huge white chocolate fan, lol!

The taste unfortunately….really isn’t. It has a sort of green, vegetal taste to it with a touch of cardamom spice. It’s a taste that’s juuuust on the verge of being bitter, but not quite. Still, I was expecting something considerably sweeter and smoother. Maybe the water I used was too hot?

I agree with your assessment—smells amazing, but taste is quite disappointing. I don’t think it was your water temperature! I didn’t get any sweetness either.

Bio

I’m a university student in her twenties who’s currently working her way toward a Bachelor of Natural Resource Science degree. I love both science and science-fiction and I’m a history nut on top of that. Maybe I should just call myself a nerd and leave it there. ;)

I’ve been drinking tea since I was young but it’s only in the past couple years that I’ve become interested in the good-quality stuff.
