Jillian drank Sinharaja by Golden Moon Tea

I actually did get a bit some something that might be likened to honey this time. It was more of a malted-honey sort of taste though, like molasses maybe. I’m also getting that berry-like note at the end aswell. Unlike most Indian black teas it also gave up a recent, if lighter, resteep.

I’m not sure it’s worth raving over like some people are, but this is a nice tea and probably the favorite of the pure Ceylons that I’ve tried.

DEFINITELY molasses, IMO! A sip of this and then a taste of turbinado sugar will confirm…it’s very much the same flavor!

I’m a university student in her mid-twenties who’s currently working her way toward a Bachelor of Natural Resource Science degree. I love both science and science-fiction and I’m a history nut on top of that. Maybe I should just call myself a nerd and leave it there. ;)

I’ve been drinking tea since I was young but it’s only in the past couple years that I’ve become interested in the good-quality stuff.

I’m also a self-proclaimed Grammar-Nazi, and improper capitalization and spelling invariably makes me twitch (yes, I mean you!)
