This was an interesting tea for me. Let me start off by saying that I’ve never actually eaten goji berries so I have NO idea what they’re supposed to taste like.

Dry and while steeping the tea had a fruity sort of smell that actually reminded me of strawberries more than anything else. The taste at first is slightly tart though still fruity, followed closely with maybe a bit of faint bitterness that might be the matcha at work. There’s also a sweet aftertaste to this tea that I suspect may be from the licorice powder not the goji berries.

Still I’m leaning towards liking this tea, if only for the novelty and the fact that for once Stash has produced a fruit tea that isn’t overwhelmed by a ton of hibiscus.

Goji berries have this really distinct flavor to them that I’m not sure how to describe. They’re kind of sweet, but mainly tangy. Eating them is fun because they’re so tiny and when you bite down on one they squish open and you’re greeted with this little burst of flavor. If you ever get the chance to try them you should nab it.

Brewed for 3 min. It seems more bitter this time for some reason even though I steeped it for less time. Hm.

Made a pot for myself and the boyfriend this morning, as we both stayed up until ridiculous hours studying for midterm exams.

Steeped for 4 min and added skim milk. I was afraid the rose would be overpowering with the extra steeping time but that wasn’t really the case (or maybe we were in too much of a rush to notice).

I’m not a huge rooibos fan but I LOVE this particular tea. It has sort of a creamy, vanilla/amaretto flavour to it and it makes my tastebuds squee in delight.

It’s filled with beautiful blue, red, and yellow flower petals, though I have no idea if they actually lend anything to the taste. It does make for a colourful, cheer-inducing tea to look at.

Oversteeped this a little I think, though with this tea that isn’t a big deal.

Hopefully this wakes me up at least a little bit. Urgh.

My boyfriend and I finished off the box today, so I guess I’ll be waiting until Christmas time to get more.

This tea tastes like ginger but without the bite. I can also taste some cinnamon in there and it’s slightly sweet in a comforting way.

I sweetened this with a teaspoon of honey and added lots of milk. It’s not a traditional chai but it tasted delicious all the same.

I’m a university student in her twenties who’s currently working her way toward a Bachelor of Natural Resource Science degree. I love both science and science-fiction and I’m a history nut on top of that. Maybe I should just call myself a nerd and leave it there. ;)

I’ve been drinking tea since I was young but it’s only in the past couple years that I’ve become interested in the good-quality stuff.
