Well, of course I love tea. It’s something I’m really rather known for in my circle of family and friends, and why I’m so happy to have found this site. Due to allergies, though, there are some varieties I have to avoid (black and oolong, for example, as well as rooibos and chamomile).
Beyond that:
I’m a scholar of religion with a specialization in world religions and interfaith relations. A former professor, I now work at the Illinois Institute of Technology as the Director of Spiritual Life and Service Learning.
I’m a Unitarian Universalist and a devotee of Hekate.
I’m passionate about social justice, volunteering, and generally making the world a better place for everyone.
I’m a bibliophile, a rolegamer, and all around proud geek.
I’m living with Polycystic Kidney Disease.
I love my friends, my family, and my cat, and believe in laughing a lot. Lucky for me, my husband is better than anyone else at putting a smile on my face. :)
