Constant Comment from Bigelow

This is an obvious personal taste tea to me. I don’t really care for it. Too busy with too many powerful flavors other than tea. Yet I can understand how others could like it.

Earl Grey from Bigelow

Very good bag Earl Grey. More flavor and nicer citrus note than Twinings version.

Red Rooibos Tea Vanilla Almond from Bentley's
82

A favorite rooibos for me. The vanilla expands the natural flavor of rooibos. Good!

Darjeeling (loose leaf) from Twinings

Just ok, unremarkable and on weak side. As I noted elsewhere, blend this in equal parts with the unremarkable Twinings gunpowder green and you get a good cup. Easily better than either alone.

Gunpowder Green Tea from Twinings
60

Ok green tea, decent but unremarkable. Now mix it with an equal part of Twinings loose leaf Darjeeling and you get an interesting and tasty cup.

China Oolong from Twinings
72

Decent cuppa, reminds me of a smoky green without the vegetal notes.

Lady Grey from Twinings
92

YUMMY! Loose leaf with some truvia and you have a citrus party in your mouth. I love this stuff and much prefer it over standard Earl Grays.

In the class of teabag breakfast teas, this is a go to. Nothing flashy or exotic here. Just a dependable cuppa. I drink it black with truvia.

English Breakfast from Twinings

Wonderful, full malt flavor with rich body. I take this cuppa without additives. In a teabag style I give it a 74. Yes loose leaf makes a difference.

Prince of Wales (loose leaf) from Twinings

I very much enjoy this tea, smooth as silk with no astringency. Fine cuppa straight up or with a little sweetener.

Lover of fine coffees, micro-beers and now exploring teas. I have two french presses, one for coffee the other for tea.

Have worked at a steel pipe & tube factory, a foundry, as a public school teacher, as a hospital chaplain, as a church pastor, as a mental health counselor/caseworker and now as a basic industrial mechanic for a large weld shop. Don’t know what I want to be ‘if’ I ever grow up. LOL
