Amaretto Matcha is my second favorite flavored matcha (over Caramel Matcha), and it tastes excellent! It has a strong and dominant almond and cherry taste exactly like Amaretto if you get it with at least the “Robust” flavor option, which I highly recommend, because you will not taste it nearly as well with the lighter flavor options. It makes a great dessert drink as well. Amaretto Matcha is also addicting, but do not worry, it will not get you drunk since it has no alcohol in it! Furthermore, it is much better made with lots of sugar than with Sweet ’N Low, and I prefer it iced. If you make it iced, make it by the pitcher to make it last longer, and use 1 tablespoon of matcha per pitcher. When buying this matcha, you have a choice between three grades of matcha: Starter (lowest), Royal, and Imperial (highest choice), but it tastes great with Starter matcha; the other two enhance the taste, but raise the price. I rarely drink it hot, but if you do, put 1 cup of water on the stove, but just wait until you see small bubbles in the pot, and use 1 teaspoon per cup of hot Amaretto matcha.
