270 Tasting Notes
Added a touch of sugar to this one and it is very scrumptious. It is nice to have something that really fits the season (baking) without splurging on everything that I made today (regular and chocolate cut outs, 2 kinds of fudge, and banana bread).
Preparation
This isn’t as flavorful as I was expecting. It could be that my nose is getting a tad stuffy though. It also isn’t a bad thing, it’s not “in your face” like several of the herbals that I have (and love). The word light comes to mind while describing this taste. I am terrible at discerning separate tastes when I try a tea. All I can really tell is fruit, probably some apple. I could see keeping this one around. It is perfect for relaxing a bit and digging in for the night to read some pharmacy guidelines.
Preparation
This morning started off with a chilly walk with the dog. He was not interested in the least bit. Hopefully his winter coat arrives soon! Immediately after the walk, the boyfriend started his coffee and I put the tea kettle on. I pulled out my samples and oldest teas and put them in a “drink these first” box. This tea however, is not one of my oldest so it is not in the box I am supposed to drink first.
I love this tea. It has a great flavor, almost reminding me of the blueberries I would eat when I was supposed to be out picking some for the pancakes we were having at grampas. It fills me up with warmth every time I make it.
Preparation
Woke up with a migraine this morning. Adjusting back to Missouri time is proving a bit difficult. Thankfully, I don’t work until 1p today. That means caffeinated tea and cuddling with the pooch. This is currently my favorite black tea, even if it is in tea bags.
It’s a bit too cold in Missouri for picnics but I am going through my caffeinated tea basket this afternoon and am quickly realizing that I have, in comparison to my over flowing herbal basket, next to no caffeinated options. I will have to make an effort to remedy this the next time I order.
I made a point to grab some of the dried berries as I was placing this leaf in my tea ball. This has a gentle, beautiful, flavor.
I’ve been enjoying this one a lot lately! I’ll have to order some more soon, luckily they still have it. :)
