Just a few brief thoughts, as I sadly ran out of this tea. This was part of a large sampler purchase from Teavivre. We are making our way through our selections. I must say this tea stands out. It is tastes almost honey-like with a dark coppery look to it. Delicious through at least two steeps. Needs no sweetener but is very good with a little honey. So good my husband pilfered into my sample!! We will certainly be buying this tea, likely in bulk. My new favorite black.
One of my favorite parts of Asian dining is the tea. Tea was so much better than the bagged Lipton which was my only previous tea experience. Then a Teavana moved in nearby and I delighted in trying all the blends and flavors…and I loved my experience with loose leaf teas. I slowly drifted away from my initial love of Teavana teas. I love oolongs and blacks. My husband is a genmaicha fanatic. I’m excited to discover other loose tea vendors, reasonable prices and different offerings.
