I have been waiting to review this tea, because frankly, it baffles me. I have never tasted another tea with quite this flavor. Not having experienced Ti Kuan Yin ever, I cannot compare this but to different types of oolongs. Having said that, it is quite a tea. The aroma is very vegetal bordering on almost fresh paint notes. (which I like btw)
The smooth yet hardy roasted flavor is more intense than most oolongs I have tasted. I want to say the flavor is almost metallic but not in a bad way. It makes me feel I am drinking something extremely healthy. This is a very complex very good tea. This will definitely become a staple for me.

Funny this tea. Dry it smells just like butterscotch candy. Once steeped the butterscotch dissapears. Overall, this tea delivers a smooth, nutty and slightly astringent cup. I don’t mind drinking it, but I was hoping for more based on the smell and the name.
Not caring for this. I did multiple steeping times and temps. It is just not good. The vanilla is artificial and cheep tasting. I know teas that have wonderful vanilla flavorings. There is no reason for it to taste this bad. Shame.
Ok my new favorite tea company has to be 52 Teas. Frank, I wish all tea companies had your flavoring flare. As silly and gimmicky as Cotton Candy Tea sounds, it desearves much respect and praise. A fantastic black base and real cotton candy flavor. Wonderful. Thank you LiberTEAS for adding this to the pack I bought from you.

You know, I am really surprised at what a low rating this tea has. Though it’s not one of my favorites, it’s a far cry from a bad tea. In both the aroma and taste I am getting more of a maple syrup and brown sugar vibe than carmel and vanilla. It does come off little bitter but still a soothing mild chai.
Ok, ok. Silver Needles may be the Prom Queen this year, but next year she will graduate and little sister will wear the crown! Wonderfully delicate and lighty floral. Luckily not much of the licorice is coming through. This one should be a staple for everone.
Oh Frank, you are a wiz with teas. This tea is so tasty. The maple, brown sugar, and oatmeal are all well represented. I did however add just a pinch of sugar to this cup to bring out the sweetness. I just felt it needed to be a nip sweeter. I really enjoyed this tea – thanks LiberTEAS!
A beautiful silver from LiberTEAS. This white has more flavor than most I have tasted. Sweet and smooth.
If you like your blacks peppery and astringent this is the one for you. I personally found it to be more bitter than peppery.
I have found through tastings of other grape related teas, Apparently it is hard to get a nice natural grape flavoring that does not scream artificial. Well Frank has come close to the holy land on this tea. The flavoring is mild and mixes well with the bai mu dan.
My goodness this tea smells sweet! Thankfully it did not brew up that way. Refreshing and perfect for a hot day. I am picking up hints of lime, green grape, and I swear a little hubba bubba. Lol!
Really? Is this just a drink? It is too tasty not to be junk food. I think weight watchers should investigate this-it is that good. Believe the hype people. Ok, I have to hurry and see if there is any of this left to buy!!!
Sample by TeaEquelsBliss. Thank you!!! This pure unflavored white was just what I needed after the last few disastrous flavored teas I have tried. I can’t help thinking a silver needle should have a bit more flavor, but this was a nice relaxing cup and I was very glad to have it. :0)
Oh Caraway, I want to like your tea; it is just too artificial.
Uggg. Another bad one from Caraway. If you like your tea with a touch of Pledge, this is your tea. Uggg
Something I cannot understand is why any tea company would use such artificial flavoring AND why they would believe real tea lovers would settle for it.
Smells artificial and tastes artificial. Sad really. I think of the little native people who spend so much time and effort collecting these teas for the world to enjoy, then just to have such mediocre flavorings applied. Sad.
A nice strong black. Smooth and rich. The vanilla is not overdone but lasts and lasts on your tongue. I have to thank Missy for another wonderful sample!! It’s good!
This tea does have a light pomegranate taste with grape undertones but brews up a little on the bland side. The white tea does not shine the way I had hoped. Next steeping I will double the tea leaves and see how it comes out.
What a tasty tea! Thank you Missy so much for the wonderful sample!! I knew I was going to like this the second I stuck my nose in the bag. How could you not with all of those wonderful flavors melding together. It was a bit bitter, but I think that’s because I was not sure of the steeping parameters. Next steep I’m going to go up to 1 1/2 teaspoons and bring the temperature down a bit. I know then it will be perfect. So vanilla and yummy. This is going on my shopping list for sure!
A wonerful blend of white and jasmine. Very soothing. Not overly perfumed. I would not mind keeping this in stock.
