a decent tea:

when i smell the leaves dry, they have a spicy smells to them.

when i smell the leaves wet, it has a strong asparagus smell to it.

when i smell the brewed tea, i smell honey.

when i taste the brewed tea, i taste a slight asparagus taste, a slight sheng puerh like honey taste and strong spices.

the color of the brewed tea is a bright amber.

i was confused… i did not know if this was a sheng puerh or a green tea. it has some puerh taste, however it has the green tea taste too.. so confusing….

i rate this tea a 75 because it was good but not the best.

many thanks to liquidproust for sending me this decent sample :)

when i smell the leaves dry, they smell musty.

when i smell the leaves wet, they smell green and like honey.

when i smell the brewed tea, i smell somewhat strong honey aromas.

when i taste the brewed tea, i taste somewhat strong honey and mild spices. also i taste a tad bit of fruityness.

a decent tea:

when i smell the leaves dry, i smell mustyness.

when i smell the leaves wet, i smell a medicinal smell and some earth.

when i smell the brewed tea i smell earth. (sometimes earth and medicinal smells depending on how long i steep it).

when i tasste the brewed tea, i taste earth (sometimes earth and medicinal taste depending on how long i steep it). also has some sweetness to it :D

the color of the brewed tea is orange to amber, consistent of a shou puerh.

the medicinal taste can be considered camphor but i’m not too sure on that.

this tea can be rinsed once, but not necessary in my opinion

i rate this a 75, due to the taste being ok. also for having little to no golden flowers, which is characteristic of fu tea.
