Acai Mango Sweet Zinger Ice Tea from Celestial Seasonings
1

This tea is truly disgusting. While it is in your mouth, it tastes like lightly flavored water that has been watered down with stale ice cubes, and when you swallow it, you are hit with an artificially sweet aftertaste that induces gaging. I can’t get all the way through a glass without dumping it out. It cannot be drunk hot or iced.

As a side note, I love the non-iced, non-pre-sweetened version of this tea. I bought this one accidentally, because the boxes are nearly identical, and I was in a hurry and not paying attention. So, learn from my mistake: Apparently the new “Sweet Iced Tea” line from Celestial Seasonings has to hide in boxes that look like the original teas’ packaging to dupe people into buying them. Don’t fall for it! Look at the entire box, don’t just glance!!!!

Country Peach Passion from Celestial Seasonings

A nice, light, sweet tea. Tastes best iced on a hot summer day!

Madagascar Vanilla Red from Celestial Seasonings

Not a bad tea. A little too much vanilla for me. I can’t drink it hot, but it can be refreshing iced. Probably won’t replace the box when this one runs out, though.

Sleepytime from Celestial Seasonings

A good, calming tea. The flavor is very nice. Not my favorite, but I like to keep it around.

Tension Tamer from Celestial Seasonings
87

Another Celestial Seasonings favorite. Great flavor, and very soothing. i use this as a “comfort” tea.

Peppermint from Celestial Seasonings
89

Great tea! I got into peppermint during the summer when I wanted hot tea that was soothing to a sore throat but cooling at the same time. The mint gives a “cool finish,” the flavor is wonderful, and it smells so good! I tend to just leave the bag in until the cup is gone, but I like my tea pretty strong.

Cinnamon Apple Spice from Celestial Seasonings
70

A great tea if you are careful about steeping time. Gets way too strong if you leave the bag in for too long. Bags don’t “age” well (so, if it takes you a long time to get through a box, I would advise buying it for autumn/winter, when apple spice is in the air, so you’ll use it up quicker). Still, one of my top teas. Smells great! Someday, I’ll have to try steeping it in cider instead of water…

Peppermint from Harney & Sons
50

Not the best peppermint tea I’ve had. The leaves are very green and pretty, but the flavor is weaker than in others I’ve had.

Decaf Earl Grey from Harney & Sons
96

The absolute best “Earl Grey” I’ve ever tasted! I drink it black with a fair amount of raw sugar. Decaf is a plus, since I do caffeine so rarely. I can enjoy this one without bouncing off walls!

Yellow and Blue from Harney & Sons
93

One of my favorites! Great for a stressful day. Smells divine and tastes oh-so-good! I just leave the bag in and let it mellow.

Hot Cinnamon Spice from Harney & Sons
67

Not my favorite Harney & Sons tea, but still very good! Smells great. Gets a little bitter if you leave the bag in too long.

Holiday Tea from Harney & Sons
80

Love this tea! Tastes great with or without milk, smells wonderful, and makes a great pick-me-up on a tired day!

African Autumn from Harney & Sons
77

This is a great tea! Smells great brewing! Just wish you could taste the cranberry more and the orange less!

Bio

Working at Barnes & Noble gives me access to bunches of Harney & Sons teas, but I’m also a Celestial Seasons fan! I prefer herbals and don’t do much for caffeine, since, when caffeinated, I’ve been know to bounce off walls…ceilings…airplanes.
