Lala drank African Honeybush, Mandarin & Orange by Twinings

I received a bag of this tea as a gift from a charity that I had given a donation to. What an awesome gift!

The smell of the dry tea bag and of the steeped tea is very strong mandarin. Not sweet, more spicey, more like the rind of the orange.

The tea tastes very sweet, there is a mellow orange flavour. The aftertaste is zesty and spicey, again like the oil from an the mandarin/orange rind.

This tea is good, but I will most likely not purchase for myself.

I am a lifetime tea lover.

I did foray into the world of coffee for a period of time, but I returned to my true love. I still, however, enjoy a good cup of java.

My all time favorite tea is Earl Grey, which I drink every morning. I mostly like black and oolong teas, and herbal blends. I do not favour mate, or pu’erh tea, although I have found a few blends that I like. Rooibos,green and white teas fall somewhere in the middle.

My current tea goal is to make the perfect cup of chai from scratch – almost there…I think.

I am in love with the whole experience of tea.
