So I am tired and guilt ridden (from an adrenaline laced tea buying spree). I thought I would give this one a try to help me calm down. And its getting close to bedtime so I need to stay away from caffeine.
This blend contains very, very large peices of leaves, flower petals, and bamboo. I only made one cup which I think might have been a mistake. Because the peices are so large, I don’t think I used enough of the blend to get everything thats in the mix.
I am tasting lemon grass, verbena, maybe slight ginger. There are grassy undertones, which may be the bamboo. There is a slight spice in the smell and taste of the tea. I am surprised and also very happy that the lemongrass did not overtake the tea.
As it cools, it is almost creamy, becomes sweeter and I can taste the sunflower.
I think I have to make a larger pot to get a better idea of this tea.
