I had this one last weekend but didn’t get around to reviewing it because I had to add it to the database. I normally get the shaken black tea lemonade but I decided to branch out and try this one. It taste very similar to the Starbucks bottled version of peach iced tea, which is peach with green tea.

I found this tea very very sweet. It felt like they used the vente proportions for a grande cup. You could definitely taste the peach. It was almost like juice. After I drank some of it down I added more ice and it tasted much better. Slightly less sweetness and I could taste the green tea. I would like this one better if there was so much sweetener in it. I guess that’s what you get when they use syrup though. It was good for a hot day. I would be willing to try it again and see if it really is super sweet or if the barista just added a bit too much to the cup.

I had a tall last week and it was perfect. Not too sweet, I could taste the tea. Now I wonder what would have happened if I ordered a grande.

You could always ask for a little less of the syrup. Try half sweet. I find anything more than halfsweet is too much for me too.

To me it tasted like there was definitely more syrup in there than should have been. I will have to try again and maybe ask for less pumps.

Chizakura

It’s possible they put in extra by mistake. But yes, if you get it at the right balance, it tastes quite nice :)

If you don’t like how something tastes, a barista should remake it for you or offer you something else. I don’t get to how to make most drinks until next week so I’m not sure how much syrup goes in (I want to know!) but that little thing got hammered into my brain today, and the very example was a barista making a drink less sweet for someone.

I didn’t try the drink until after I left the store. And I was with my mom so I didn’t want to have to walk back in to get the drink fixed. I will just remember to ask for it less sweet next time. And remember to try it in store :)

Wish I had read this before I had another green tea frap today.

3 pumps of Peach in a tall, four in a grande, six in a venti. Trenta doesn’t exist where I live, so if you’re in a store with that size you’ll have to wait until next week. ^^;

I am a lifetime tea lover.

I did foray into the world of coffee for a period of time, but I returned to my true love. I still, however, enjoy a good cup of java.

My all time favorite tea is Earl Grey, which I drink every morning, the stronger the bergamot the better. I definitely prefer natural oil of bergamot to artificial flavouring.

I mostly like black and dark oolong teas. My current favs are Fujian blacks, Keemun and Assams, and Wuyi oolongs. I gravitate towards anything with lychee in it. I also drink a lot of herbal blends but am wary of hibiscus. I do not favour mate, or pu’erh tea, although I have found a few blends that I like. (I so badly want to like straight pu’erh tea but it all tastes gross to me. I keep trying though). Rooibos, green and white teas fall somewhere in the middle. I find myself gravitating towards heavily roasted oolongs and teas from Paris/France based companies.

I love iced teas and cold brews.

My current tea goal is to make the perfect cup of chai from scratch – almost there…I think.

I am in love with the whole experience of tea.
