The dry blend is a beautiful mix of black tea, orange-red safflower petals, and peices of orange peel It smells very strong of bergamot, mmmm Earl Grey.

While brewing there is a slight bergamot smell, maybe some kind of nutty smell, like almond, everything seems blunted by the safflower.

The brewed tea is not good while it is hot. As it starts to cool, it becomes much better. It is not very strong bergamot at all. You can taste the safflower and black tea base strongly. There is a citrous type flavour, but it is neither sweet nor tart.

Overall, not my favorite paris blend but it is good enough.

Decided to make this one as a cold brew. I have been shovelling snow like mad to get it moved away from the house foundation (and its pretty much not making any difference). I made this one to quench my thirst from sweating up a storm. But it was not very good as a cold brew. I have decided that hibiscus + cold brew does not work for me. It tasted like the same strawberry and cream flavour it has when it is hot, but the hibiscus was out of control! I added some sugar, but that only made it out of control sweet hibiscus. I think I will stick with this one as a hot drink.

I thought that I had to try this one again. I steeped it for only 3 minutes this time and added some rock sugar. This made it much less hibiscus. It is definitely a sweet, fruity tea, slightly creamy, but I would not say it was orange. I still get the rockets candy flavour. Overall the tea seems really weak becuase I steeped for less time. But it is better than when I steeped for longer.

The dry tea smells very strongly of bergamot, which I like. Already off to a good start.

The tea tastes like a very smooth Earl Grey. There is a strong bergamot taste but it is not bitter, its very smooth and creamy. I also feel like I am getting notes of vanilla and caramel.

I also would like to say I am happy that Teajo labelled the tea package with the ingredients and the preparation details, so I did not have to look anything up. I wish more tea companies did this.

I decided to make this one as a cold brew. I brewed if for about 12 hours. It tasted really good. With a moderate spearmint taste but not too strong. I decided it needed just a bit of sugar. I am not sure what happened but there is way too much sugar in it now. It tastes just like Wrigleys spearmint gum. Which is delicious for about the first sip but then a bit too much for a whole glass. And I have 64 oz of it. I would hate to dump it. Will try to add more water but I am disappointed in my performance on this one.

The dry tea is beautiful to look at. Peices of chopped sage, ginger and tulsi, gogi berries, flower petals. The dry tea smells strongly of sage and ginger.

The tea brews a light, but bright yellow liquid. It smells of sage, tulsi basil and tart lemon.

The taste is very strong sage and ginger. There is a tartness to it, which might be the lemon or gogi or both. I am also getting a very strong taste of the tulsi basil, and it tastes a bit salty to me. I got this same taste with Verdant’s Holy Basil Spa blend. The rose is helping to make the tea very smooth.

Definitely is a warming tea. I think it would make a great stuffy nose tea for sure. However, I would like to try it iced as well.

Mmmmmm. This is super delicious. Tastes just like cake!!

The smell of the dry tea is wonderful. I don’t quite pick up pineapple. But I get a sweet cake flavour, slightly nutty, almost like a crumble cake.

The taste of the tea reminds me of a cake my mom used to make called Lazey Daisy Cake (no idea why it was called that). It was essentially a white pound cake with coconut and brown sugar melted on top to make a glaze, then served with cream. Again I do not taste pineapple. But I taste sweet, heavy cake, creamy, some vanilla flavour. Maybe a hint of cherry towards the end of the sip.

Regardless of what the name of the tea is, it is a delicious dessert tea for sure!

This tea smells so delicious I want to eat it. The dry tea smells like sweet cinnamon candies, like hot tamales or hot lips. My favorite. I love cinnamon. The dry tea has a strong scent of cinnamon spice as well.

While brewing I did not hear any popping or snapping, which was disappointed. I even put my ear close enough to burn it on the steam from the tea. Oops. I’m OK.

The brewed tea smells of sweet cinnamon, spicey cinnamon, a hint of vanilla, maybe kind of nutty.

The tea tastes delicious. Ther is more of a sweet cinnamon taste and not so much a spicey taste. The sweetness is not overpowering. There is a hint of vanilla. I was a little disappointed it was not as spicey as I thought it would be. I love cinnamon spice, and occaisionally will just chew on a cinnamon stick. But in saying that, this is a delicious, well blended tea. I am sure it will now be one of my many favorites.

On first smell of this brewed tea, it smells exactly like sweet orange cream by Kally tea, which I reviewed yesterday, so I was a bit skeptical. It smelled exactly like rockets, the candy.

On first sip it was very strong hibiscus. But after I let it cool it was much better. Still very strong hibiscus but was not too bitter or tart. More like blunted hibiscus. There is a bit of a citrus undertone. I do not get blood orange from this at all which is disappointing because I love blood oranges. Still on my search for an authentic tasting blood orange tea.

I am going to try to steep for less time next time and see what happens.

Overall makes a good tea, just not what I was expecting.

I can’t recall if I have ever had a straight yunnan before. I find this taste to be odd. Not odd in a bad way, it’s just different than what I expected. I did brew it at work so I have no control over the temp of the water I used but it was probably under boiling point.

The tea brews a nice golden colour. It smells sweet and maybe a hint of vanilla. The tea tastes light and kind of sweet and earthy. There is a bit of an astringent aftertaste but it not too bad.

This is a nice light breakfast tea in comparison to a strong one like English breakfast.
