640 Tasting Notes
Had this at the store when I was doing errands last week, as there is one in a part of ABQ I like to visit often. It smelled mostly like citrus, didn’t really get any berry. The flavour was much more grapefruit as well. Like a sweet, citrus punch of some kind. And no berry.
Flavors: Citrus, Grapefruit
Since I needed to get up early for an outing, I decided to have this tea to start the day. It has a nice scent, sweet potatoes and molasses. The flavour is mildly sweet, and reminds me of dried fruit. Now I’m having my fourth cup while watching Star Trek.
Flavors: Dried Fruit, Molasses, Sweet, Yams
Had it this morning with my attempt at French toast, sans milk.
This smells go good. Mostly like yams, and some cocoa. There is a nice malty chocolate flavour with hints of dried fruit (apricot perhaps). Still one of my fave morning teas.
Flavors: Chocolate, Cocoa, Malt, Sweet Potatoes, Yams
Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Teakettle.
Captain’s Log Stardate 11502.3 -We reached a new planet by the name of Adagio. The locals insisted we try a beverage they call ‘flavoured pu erh’. They gave me a warm mug that smells strongly of oranges and chocolate. There is an orange flavour, but I don’t get much chocolate. Decent, but I’ve had better on other worlds.
Flavors: Chocolate, Citrus, Orange
I was originally going to catch up on my reading, but got distracted by Star Trek. The name of this tea makes me think of vanilla. Though it has a strong scent of coconut. There is certainly coconut in the flavour, and I also get some apple and mango. It’s like this tea is trying to be a tropical beverage, but didn’t quite get the fruit together.
Flavors: Coconut, Mango, Tropical, Yogurt
