614 Tasting Notes
This is the other sample Stacy picked out. Dry, it smelled nicely like malty chocolate. Brewed, I get more of a baked bread scent. The flavour is lighter than expected, with some fruit and sweet potato notes. It does have some baked bread as well. Now it tastes a bit like raisin bread, which I really like. Praise Yavanna!
Flavors: Baked Bread, Chocolate, Malt, Sweet Potatoes
It’s two weeks until my b-day, so I got some cookies. By Hestia, this does smell like cookie batter. Dry it has a really good almond scent, brewed- more citrus comes out. The flavour is more like an almond pastry with orange zest. I liked the added flowers as well. A good tea for the Autumn season. Thanks to Stacy for the recommendation.

Me new crew be a bunch of teetotalers, they gave me this when I asked for grog. Picked it up in the great port of San Francisco, they did. Blimey! This be a coconutty brew. There be rum as well. Reminds me of the time we sailed through the Spanish Main.
A fine bit of booty to store in me hold.

The last one of the Butiki order. There is mostly a malty scent, with some citrus notes. It has a sweet flavour, and is a bit more malty. A nice evening cup while I watch Doctor Who.
I wanted to try other Indian black teas, since I’m so used to assam. Now I have two, and one of them is a decaf even. In the future, I must look for other new black teas… for science.
