468 Tasting Notes
Well, it finally happened. I found Teavana tea I actually liked. Went by the store here to kill time while waiting for the bus. They had Winter teas, but it was only Halloween. It smelled nicely minty, with some chocolate. While I know they sweeten the teas, this one tasted like peppermint bark (similar to the one put out by Ghirardelli). There is apparently the dreaded licorice root in this, but I didn’t really notice.

Had this with pre-packing breakfast. There isn’t a lot to have when most of your food is packed, and nobody went to the store. So I had some oatmeal. I usually have it with cinnamon, so this paired nicely. There was a lovely scent of ginger at first, and the cardamom came out when I brewed it. The flavour was a nice blend of the two spices. And the rose petals were a pretty bit of added colour. Thanks to cookies.
Flavors: Cardamon, Ginger
How did I not review this already? Anyway, I really like the scent of this one. It is nice and floral. There is a lovely rose flavour as well. I like this tea because it makes feel like I’m at a fancy tea event. The black tea base is pleasant. Overall, of my fave teas from RoT.

I wanted to try this again because I had not in a while. In fact, I didn’t take very good so notes. So, Mandy was nice enough to send me some.
It smells nicely spiced. Not sure what a pumpkin creme brulee would be like, but I want to make one. This does have some creamy pumpkin flavours. Though I mostly taste the spices. Now that I tried the Ceylon, I rather like this one for the base tea.
Flavors: Creamy, Pumpkin, Spices
The snozzberries smell like snozzberries! Er, I mean raspberries. Which is pretty good, and a little bit of cocoa. There is more of the berry in the flavour, but I do get the chocolate notes as well. Towards the end of the cup, more of the base tea comes out. Which is very good, as that is the Kundaly I’ve gotten to like so much. Thanks Mandy for this.
