My latest sample. It smells nicely malty, and somewhat like dried fruit. The flavour is more baked bread, and honey. Goes nicely with my anime.

From my very last Butiki box…

There an earthy scent with a lot of spice. The flavour is a nice blend of spices, and a little creaminess. Good, but I don’t really get any pumpkin. This would be good for snowy days.

I was curious, so I added this to my last Butiki box. This smells slightly smoky red hots. The flavour more like cinnamon candy as well. It’s interesting, but not what I was expecting.

Had it this morning with my attempt at French toast, sans milk.

This smells go good. Mostly like yams, and some cocoa. There is a nice malty chocolate flavour with hints of dried fruit (apricot perhaps). Still one of my fave morning teas.

Flavors: Chocolate, Cocoa, Malt, Sweet Potatoes, Yams

I adore ‘yammy’ teas. This sounds delicious!

Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Teakettle.

Captain’s Log Stardate 11502.3 -We reached a new planet by the name of Adagio. The locals insisted we try a beverage they call ‘flavoured pu erh’. They gave me a warm mug that smells strongly of oranges and chocolate. There is an orange flavour, but I don’t get much chocolate. Decent, but I’ve had better on other worlds.

End log.

Flavors: Chocolate, Citrus, Orange

I was originally going to catch up on my reading, but got distracted by Star Trek. The name of this tea makes me think of vanilla. Though it has a strong scent of coconut. There is certainly coconut in the flavour, and I also get some apple and mango. It’s like this tea is trying to be a tropical beverage, but didn’t quite get the fruit together.

My morning cup. It smells nicely like nuts and berry. The berry flavour comes across as sweet and creamy. Then there a nut flavour in the background.
I do enjoy the berry in this blend.

I recently got this as a sample, but I’ve already tried it.

There is a nice floral scent, and some fruit- perhaps lychee. I get more lychee in the flavour, and some green grapes. Much more fruity than I remember. Went very well with my breakfast (French toast). Thanks to Teavivre for letting me try this again.

When it is snowing, I drink more tea. Makes it nice to watch from inside if I have a nice warm beverage. Today, I decided to try this. Mostly for warmth and because this is my first mug of oolong tea this year. The dry leaves have a sweet, dried fruit scent, with some roasted nuts. Brewed, I get more roasted nuts. That comes out more in the flavour, along with something toasted grain bread. Thanks to Teavivre for this sample.

Flavors: Dried Fruit, Grain, Roasted nuts, Toast

After hanging out in the snowy woods again, I decided to have this tea. There is a sweet, bread like scent, with hints of honey and sweet potatoes. The flavour is more molasses and bittersweet dark chocolate. It is a bit darker than the others I’ve tried this weekend, but still good for snowy evenings.

Flavors: Dark Chocolate, Grain, Molasses
